Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with weekend requirements every other weekend.

We are seeking a qualified Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse to join our flex pool. The RN will be responsible for providing care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be adaptable and willing to float between two MS/Tele units based on unit needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize standard med-surg/tele equipment including bedside monitors and Liko lifts.
• Document all care in the electronic health record (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be comfortable floating to all required units.
