Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for residents, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly to the supervising physician or charge nurse.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and rehabilitation/therapy staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate charting in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing to practice in the United States.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric nursing, medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and participate in weekend rotations; adaptability to travel assignment requirements.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
