MRI Technologist | Panama City, FL

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures using established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for exams ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in PACS.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including radiation and magnetic safety guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed (minimum 2-hour call-back, time-and-a-half pay).
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
- Florida State Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $32 to $44/hr (based on experience).
- Shift differentials: $5/hr for nights and weekends.
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000.
