HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the beverage manufacturing industry!
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6 am to 6 pm 2-2-3 schedule
Pay: $28-29 an hour
Location: Quincy, IL
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while following all safety procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair production-related equipment, including regrind equipment, dehumidifiers, cooling tower pumps, recirculation pumps, water chillers, and high-pressure air compressors
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment
- Complete equipment maintenance logs and related documentation accurately
- Assist with work orders, equipment changeovers, and minor repair projects
- Ensure production equipment operates at optimal efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and support a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of work-related experience or training preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Computer experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to plan and execute minor repair and maintenance projects
- Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practices
- Preventative maintenance expertise, including identifying and addressing equipment issues
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
