Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Description

Job Description

Licensed Massage Therapist | Massage Therapy by Krissy | San Antonio, TX

Are you a confident, skilled LMT who wants to show up fully for your clients and your team?

Massage Therapy by Krissy has been helping San Antonio feel better since 2012. We are therapist-owned, so we understand this profession from the inside: the physical demands, the emotional investment, and what it takes to build a sustainable career doing work you love. Our clients are loyal, our reviews are outstanding, and our team is built on trust and collaboration.

We are growing, and we are looking for the right person to grow with us.

Why therapists love working here

• Real schedule flexibility. If you have no bookings for a scheduled shift, you don't need to come in. You're on call, not waiting around. Weekday time off is easy to arrange, and we plan weekend coverage together well in advance.
• W-2 employment (not 1099)
• Starting commission of 38%, increasing to 40% after your introductory period, with continued growth opportunities as you build your tenure
• Tips on top of commission, paid out the same day to a no-fee tips card. It never overdrafts, every swipe helps build your credit, and you can transfer your balance to your bank account anytime.
• Optional dental, vision, disability, and accident insurance for full-time and part-time team members
• CEU reimbursement support
• 15-minute turnaround between clients
• Therapist trades available
• Employee discount
• A supportive team and a calm, professional space
• Mentorship and room to grow your skills

Who we are looking for

• Active Texas LMT license in good standing
• 1+ years of hands-on experience
• Confidence in your skills, with proficiency in Swedish and Deep Tissue (we will train Hot Stone, Cupping, and Prenatal if you are new to them)
• Genuine passion for helping clients feel better
• Excellent customer service and a talent for making people feel seen
• Creative, helpful, and a true team player
• Comfortable checking your own clients in and out (we will train you)
• Active personal liability insurance
• Entrepreneurial background welcome. If you have run your own practice and realized you would rather put your energy into the work and the clients than the business side, you will fit right in.

Bonus points for: Lymphatic Drainage (we are especially excited about this one), Myofascial Release, Thai Stretching, Sports Massage, or any other specialty.

• Check your own clients in and out
• Complete SOAP notes the same day
• Keep your room clean, reset, and ready between clients
• Follow sanitation and safety standards
