Temporary Benefits Assistant – Open Enrollment Location: Fort Worth, TX Employment Type: Temporary | Contract Duration: Approximately 4–6 Weeks Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Benefits Assistant to support a Human Resources team during the annual Open Enrollment period. This short-term assignment focuses on high-volume employee outreach, benefits enrollment follow-up, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable making 100–200 outbound calls daily in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Make 100–200 outbound calls daily regarding employee benefits enrollment status and deadlines.
• Send enrollment reminders, follow-up emails, and employee communications.
• Answer basic benefits questions and escalate complex inquiries.
• Track enrollment progress and maintain accurate employee records.
• Perform data entry and update enrollment information.
• Follow established procedures to ensure timely enrollment completion.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to meet enrollment deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls throughout the workday.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, administrative support, HR, or employee benefits.
• Experience with high-volume outbound calling and employee follow-up.
• Familiarity with benefits enrollment or HR processes.
