Your Key Responsibilities
• Lead core execution for the Cloud Compute & Infrastructure Engineer ... role across day to day priorities, technical problem solving, and cross functional coordination.
• Drive high quality outcomes for projects based in Orange County, California, USA while maintaining strong operational discipline.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and production teams to move work from planning into successful delivery.
• Improve process stability, quality, and throughput through disciplined analysis and practical execution.
• Support issue resolution, technical decision making, and continuous improvement activity across the function.
• Document results clearly and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to the broader team.
• Contribute hands-on expertise in support of schedule, quality, and business objectives.



What You Bring to the Role

What matters most: you've built infrastructure that other engineers actually want to use. You're a true generalist who can move between cloud orchestration, web interfaces, and CLI tooling without missing a beat.


You should bring broad systems knowledge - networking, storage, compute, containers - and have real experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar). Strong background in C++ plus comfort in scripting languages like Python, Go, Rust, or Ruby. Cloud platform depth required (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure transferable). Experience building and supporting production-critical applications.


Building developer-facing tools (CLIs, internal portals, APIs) is a big plus. CS degree or equivalent depth from hands-on experience. 5+ years building and shipping production infrastructure.
