This executive nursing leader is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This leader oversees clinical operations, nursing staff, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, workforce development, and resident care initiatives while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices, and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all residents' needs.Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing services department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.Assist with the development of and approve the final version of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with the physician, Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants (i.e., nursing, dietary, pharmacy, therapists, etc.) and in accordance with corporate, state, and federal guidelines.Confirm accurate completion of forms/reports for the admission, transfer, and/or discharge of each resident.QualificationsAssociate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN or MSN preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN License in the applicable state.Minimum of five years of nursing experience, including at least three years in a nursing leadership or management role.Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.PreferredBachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.Experience leading clinical quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness.Demonstrated success developing and retaining high-performing nursing teamsA competitive executive compensation package, including performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits program, will be offered commensurate with experience.Tracy WolfeZingaro, Fidler, Wolfe & View email address on click.appcast.io / View phone number on click.appcast.io / View phone number on click.appcast.io
