Planning Manager

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Planning Manager to join their team.Our client, a thriving 150-year-old industrial CPG manufacturer, seeks a motivated Manager of Planning to join their growing team. In this critical role, you'll report directly to the CFO and play a key role in maximizing company profitability, meeting customer demand, and optimizing plant capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the production planning team, driving efficient order and backlog management.
• Oversee work planning through plant assets, ensuring smooth operations.
• Establish and optimize inventory levels to balance cost and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve production, inventory, and service targets.
• Leverage data analysis and business intelligence tools to translate forecasts and historical data sets into actionable insights for production & operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong customer focus and experience translating forecasts into production plans.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and manipulation.
• Experience with ERP systems and business analytics software (Power BI preferred).
