Founded in San Luis Obispo, California, our entirely U.S. based team designs, builds and supports highly capable and flexible drone platforms for both commercial and government customers./ppThis is an in-office position for hire at Inspired Flights HQ in San Luis Obispo, CA./ppInspired Flight Technologies is looking to expand its Logistics team with the addition of a Shipping Coordinator. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end shipping and receiving operations that keep our drone manufacturing supply chain running smoothly, ensuring parts and finished products move efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations./ppThis role will report directly to the VP of Operations within the Logistics department. This is a prime opportunity for a highly motivated and creative professional that thrives in a startup environment and is looking for career development and advancement./ppTypical responsibilities:/pulliCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries with freight carriers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers/liliPrepare and process shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and commercial invoices/liliEnsure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, including ITAR, hazmat, and export control requirements relevant to drone and aerospace products/liliReceive incoming materials and components, verify against purchase orders, and document discrepancies or damages/liliMaintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the ERP system/liliCoordinate with the inventory and purchasing teams to ensure timely fulfillment of outbound orders and availability of inbound materials/liliMonitor carrier performance, track shipments, and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays/liliMaintain an organized and safe shipping and receiving area in accordance with company standards/liliAssist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as needed/liliIdentify opportunities to reduce shipping costs and improve logistics processes/li/ulpYoull excel in this role if you have:/pulliExperience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing environment/liliFamiliarity with ERP systems for order and inventory management/liliWorking knowledge of domestic freight and small parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.)/liliUnderstanding of export regulations and compliance requirements (ITAR experience a plus)/liliStrong attention to detail and organizational skills/liliAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment/liliExperience preferably in the following industries: aviation, aerospace, or defense/li/ulpEducation/Experience Requirements:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required; associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred/lili13 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination/liliExperience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred/li/ulpBenefits Offered:/pulliPaid Time Off, plus Sick Time Holidays/liliWorld Class Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Plan/lili401k w/ 6% company match/liliQuarterly Team Bonus Plan/li/ul/div
