Superior Sales & Service is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. This is custom, hands-on fabrication worknot production linerequiring precision, problem-solving, and the ability to work from technical drawings. In addition to welding and fabrication, the ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and working on heavy-duty components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate fabrication tools such as torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and other hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices accurately.
• Assist with mechanical assembly and installation of fabricated components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed.
• Use basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• 35 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in MIG and stick welding; TIG experience a plus.
• Skilled in operating metalworking tools and power hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude required; experience with hydraulics or heavy equipment preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must own and maintain personal tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hydraulic systems, booms, or cranes.
• Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
