Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 11:00–21:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I PACU and Phase II Recovery care for post-operative patients
• Support patients undergoing Endoscopic/Laparoscopic, General, Orthopedic, Ortho/Spine, and Ortho/Total Joint procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement as required competencies
• Complete 2 weekend call shifts and 2 weeknight call shifts per month as scheduled
• Float to other units as needed within the facility
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with pre-start onboarding modules and compliance processes
