Associate Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated, competitive, and highly dependable  Associate Sales Representative to join our growing medical device sales team. This is an entry-level sales position designed for an individual who wants to build a career in the medical device industry while gaining hands-on experience working with surgeons, operating room staff, hospital personnel, and experienced sales representatives.

The Associate Sales Representative will support territory growth, provide clinical and procedural product support, develop relationships with healthcare professionals, and assist with the day-to-day management of accounts. The ideal candidate is professional, coachable, organized, comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment, and willing to put in the work required to develop into a successful medical device sales professional.

• Support sales representatives in developing and growing hospital, surgery center, and physician accounts throughout the assigned territory.
• Attend surgical procedures and provide appropriate product and technical support to surgeons, nurses, and operating room personnel.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's medical devices, their clinical applications, competitive products, and relevant surgical procedures.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, operating room staff, materials management, and other hospital personnel.
• Assist with product demonstrations, evaluations, trials, in-services, and educational opportunities.
• Ensure products and instrumentation are available and properly prepared for scheduled procedures.
• Monitor and manage product inventory, including coordinating deliveries, replenishment, and product availability.
• Identify prospective customers and new business opportunities within the territory.
• Assist with prospecting, account development, follow-up, and other sales activities designed to increase territory revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of account activity, sales opportunities, inventory, and customer interactions.
• Respond quickly and professionally to customer and procedural needs.
• Work collaboratively with senior sales representatives and leadership to achieve territory sales objectives.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and comply with applicable hospital policies, company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of professional sales, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related experience preferred.
• Strong interest in building a long-term career in medical device sales.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward performance-based goals.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to learn medical terminology, surgical procedures, anatomy, and technical product information.
• Comfortable working in operating room and clinical environments.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
• Flexibility to accommodate surgical schedules, including early mornings and occasional evenings or schedule changes.

Our representatives are expected to become trusted resources for their customers by understanding the products, procedures, and clinical environments in which they work.

This position is intended to provide a foundation for advancement within medical device sales. Associates who demonstrate strong product knowledge, clinical competency, customer relationships, and sales performance may have the opportunity to progress into a  Sales Representative or Territory Manager position with increased account and revenue responsibility.

Competitive base salary with performance-based incentive compensation. Compensation structure and benefits may vary based on experience and territory.
