Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Experience: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Licensure: An active SLP license in Michigan is required to commence the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred Experience: Background in skilled nursing facilities is advantageous.
• Specialized Skills: Experience in assessing and treating dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and speech/language impairments is preferred.
• Documentation Proficiency: Familiarity with documentation systems utilized in post-acute care settings is preferred.

Assignment Overview

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Schedule: Day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Work Hours: Five 8-hour shifts each week.
• Contract Details: Guaranteed clinical hours and contract weeks are managed by the client (specifics will be provided by the recruiter).
