PARCEL DELIVERY/PICKUP DRIVER

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a PARCEL DELIVERY/PICKUP DRIVER to join our team! We are an independent service provider for FEDEX GROUND. You will be responsible for safely operating a Truck/Stepvan with a capacity of at least 22,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Knowledge of CENTEREACH, SELDEN, PORTJEFFERSON, PORTJEEFERSON ST., MT SINAI, MILLER PLACE, SOUND BEACH, ROCKY POINT, SHOREHAM, WADING RIVER , RIDGE, AND MANORVILLE ARE A PLUS.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo
Route out your day with the packages on your vehicle
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
Previous experience in truck driving or other related field
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic
Must have a clean license
Full back ground will be preformed
Must be able to pass a DOT physical along with a drug test
