Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

RN Invasive Cardiology

Schedule: 0630-1700; 0700-1730; 0800-1830. Holidays and on-call shifts are to be assigned by unit rotation. Minimum call back for STEMI is 4 hours.

Assignment Details: Minimum years of experience: 1.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure in the state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association only.
• Cath Lab experience with preoperative and postoperative skills.
• Experience with monitoring and sedation of patients.
• Proficient with advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques such as IABP and IMPELLA.
• Experience with ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Assist with interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures.
• Respond to STEMI calls within a 30-minute timeframe.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer sedation as needed.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment effectively.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
