Maintenance Technician

Join American Communities!American Communities is a family-owned real estate company dedicated to revitalizing apartment communities and creating places residents are proud to call home.We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.What You'll DoPerform maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.Respond promptly to resident service requests.Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and apartment make-readies.Maintain pools, amenities, buildings, and grounds.Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.Follow OSHA and company safety standards.Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.Provide professional, courteous service to residents and vendors.What You'll NeedMUST HAVE: EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal CertificationHigh School Diploma or GED.3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably multifamily.Strong HVAC and general maintenance skills.Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to lift 25+ pounds and perform physical maintenance duties.Why American Communities?Join a company where people matter!
