Phlebotomist - Liberty Campus

Hours M-F 12pm-8:30pm, weekend (Sat & Sun typically 8am-4:30pm) and holiday rotations required. Responsibilities Technical/Phlebotomy – Perform approved specimen collection procedures, point‑of‑care testing services and processing. Provide education, information and support to patients and families concerning tests and specimen acquisition. Assist in special projects, evaluations, experiments or research. Customer Service – Act as patient advocate and meet patient/family needs. Provide information concerning patients admitted to, referred to from, transferred to from or discharged from the home unit. Offer emotional support to patients and families as needed. Communicate courteously and promptly attend to requests and concerns. Collaboration – Work cooperatively with others to achieve goals, adjust one's style to complement that of others, develop positive working relationships, share knowledge, and promote a professional work environment. Professional Development – Maintain current knowledge through continuing education, conferences, meetings, in‑services, networking, literature and seminars. Attend all mandatory training sessions and apply gained knowledge to one's work and the organization. Take responsibility for personal growth and may participate in professional committees or councils. Compliance – Understand and adhere to applicable policies, guidelines, regulations and accreditation standards, document compliance as necessary, and maintain compliance with core standards and a code of ethics. Help ensure work areas are safe, accessible and efficient. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of phlebotomy or other relevant clinical lab specimen collection experience, or completion of a phlebotomy or medical assistant program. Preferred: Phlebotomy or medical assistant certification. Schedule & Compensation Shift: Full time, rotating. Location: Liberty Campus. Employee status: Regular FTE. Weekly hours: 40. Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status: $18.16 – $22.25 per hour.
