Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Travel nursing compliance documentation (physical, immunizations, background check, etc.)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
