Post Closing Specialist

Venture Title Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Post Closer to join our growing, women-led, family-oriented team. This role is essential to ensuring every real estate transaction is properly finalized with accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. We are looking for someone who is highly detail-driven, dependable, and naturally steps into a problem-solving mindset when reviewing files. This position requires strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment. This is a fully in-house position due to the hands-on nature of file handling, check processing, and wire disbursements. The Post Closer is responsible for managing the final phase of the real estate closing process after settlement. This includes reviewing and balancing closed files, ensuring all executed documents are properly finalized and uploaded, coordinating post-closing packages, and completing financial and compliance wrap-up tasks. The goal of this role is to ensure each file is fully accurate, compliant, and ready for final closure and archiving. Compensation • Base Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 (Based on experience) • Performance Increase Opportunities • Performance-based bonuses • Paid Time Off Responsibilities: Post-Closing File Completion • Finalize real estate transactions from settlement through full file closure • Ensure all closing documents are properly executed, scanned, and uploaded into the system • Review closing files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to final archiving • Prepare files for final handoff and closure in the system Financial Reconciliation & Disbursement • Reconcile all closing figures, including escrow, title, and lender payoffs • Verify payoff statements and confirm wire instructions for accuracy • Prepare and process disbursements, including wires and checks, in accordance with closing instructions • Ensure all financial components of the file balance prior to closure Recording & Policy Coordination (Handoff-Based) • Prepare and organize documents for submission to the recording department • Ensure recording packets are complete and properly compiled for internal handoff • Distribute final closing packages to lenders, agents, and relevant parties Compliance & Quality Control • Ensure all files meet regulatory, audit, and internal compliance standards • Maintain complete and organized digital and physical file records • Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or inconsistencies and resolve or escalate appropriately • Perform final quality assurance review before file archiving Qualifications: • Prior experience in title, escrow, or real estate post-closing is required • Strong understanding of closing workflows, document handling, and file reconciliation • Familiarity with title production software (e.g., Qualia ) strongly preferred • High level of accuracy in financial and document review • Proven ability to handle sensitive financial transactions with absolute trustworthiness • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Must be able to work in-house Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000
