Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient infusion setting, ensuring safe administration of chemotherapeutic and immunotherapy treatments. Delivers comprehensive patient assessments, education, and coordination of care while maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans tailored to oncology treatment needs.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusions following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, side effects, and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to OSHA, USP 800, and local regulations regarding hazardous drug handling and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license for the state where care is delivered.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience, preferably in outpatient infusion settings.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and anatomy.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
