Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, implement and progress rehabilitation plans for LTAC residents.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait training, range of motion, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed during therapy sessions and support patient independence.
• Document patient progress and contribute to准确 charting in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, report changes to the supervising PT and nursing team, and adjust treatments as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy area, following infection control and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
• 1+ year of experience in LTAC or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced LTAC environment and collaborate with the care team.
• Willingness to travel for a 14-week assignment and commit to a 40-hour workweek.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document accurately and concisely.
