Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a dynamic and respected primary care team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in a supportive environment committed to clinical excellence and community health. The position is ideal for physicians who value long-term patient relationships and enjoy preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct preventive health evaluations, physical exams, and wellness visits
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain precise and timely electronic medical records
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, specialists, and support staff
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
