Shalom Park provides internships including but not limited too Therapeutic Recreation, Social Work, Music Therapy, and Nutrition. Each intern is supervised by a fully credentialed staff member who has been employed by Shalom Park for at least one year and working in their specific industry for at least three.The duties for each internship vary depending on requirements, however, duties may include:DocumentationProgramming with eldersDevelopment and implementation in person-centered interventionsAttending meetingsPlease note that these are non-specific, as internship duties will vary greatly based on specialty area.The internship experience is not paid; however, for interns working the equivalent of 40 hours a week shalom park provides one meal daily at no charge and a free membership to our wellness center during the internship.
