MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

\n

\n
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
\n
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
\n
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
\n
• BLS certification
\n
• ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT
\n
• Experience with MR procedures including Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, and MRAs
\n
• Experience with Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI equipment
\n

Assignment Details:

\n

\n
• 40 standard hours per week
\n
• Weekend rotation varies, typically once a month, based on departmental needs
\n
• Voluntary on-call requirement
\n
• Float throughout the hospital and work in different areas of the Radiology department
\n
• One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
\n

Location Highlights

Montgomery offers access to the Alabama River and a walkable downtown anchored by the Riverfront Park and the Entertainment District. The city is home to the Legacy Museum and the Rosa Parks Museum, both located within downtown Montgomery and within a short drive of many hospital areas. Outdoor options include the Alabama Safari Park in Hope Hull about 20 minutes away and Chewacla State Park in Auburn about 55 miles east for hiking, camping, and lake access. Montgomery Regional Airport serves the area about 10 miles from downtown, and Interstate 65 connects travelers to Birmingham in roughly 90 minutes and Mobile in about 2.5 hours.
