About the Opportunity

We are an independent, physician-owned emergency medicine group serving the Northern Virginia area. Our organization is currently looking for a Fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to become part of our dedicated team. This role is based at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia, and offers a stable and supportive atmosphere within a private, democratic group recognized for its clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and adaptable scheduling.

Position Highlights

• Patient Volume: 50-60 patients daily (24-hour average) with a transfer rate of less than 5%

• Shift Schedule: 13 shifts per month (6 AM - 4 PM, 2 PM - Midnight, 9 PM - 7 AM)
• New Inpatient Unit

Practice Environment

• Inova Loudoun Hospital (Flagship Site):
• 50,000 Adult ED visits & approximately 20,000 Annual Pediatric ED visits
• 26-bed adult ED and 11-bed pediatric ED
• Level III Trauma Center with Leapfrog Hospital recognition
• Part of the nationally acclaimed Inova Health System
• Utilizes Epic EMR

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Pediatric Emergency Medicine Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible for a Virginia medical license
