Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ER RN for this position. The candidate must possess an active WI RN licensure, education verification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS. Travelers may also work at our other Emergency Department locations within Janesville and Beloit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Document patient care according to standards.
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to individualized needs as prescribed by the physician.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across departments.
• Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience and appropriately escalate issues.
• Participate in professional nursing processes, unit practice activities, and peer review.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active WI RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• TNCC or TNS certification
