Staff Tax Accountant

Responsibilities: Assist with providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse group of private companies and individuals. Prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns. Assist with tax planning and tax research projects, identifying and addressing business and tax issues through research and analysis, under the guidance of senior staff and managers. Complete assigned engagement work within budgeted time and scheduled deadlines. Communicate progress, questions, and potential issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. Develop an understanding of client needs and circumstances while providing support on routine tax and accounting matters. Requirements: 0-2 years of experience in public accounting or related field Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts Working knowledge of tax principles and concepts, tax law, and tax research Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills Work style that promotes positive relationships and collaboration opportunities Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively We offer a flexible work environment, great opportunities for advancement, along with a competitive compensation and benefits plan.
