CRNA Assistant Chief - AGH - Full Time

Job Title
Assist the Chief Nurse Anesthetist and the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology in meeting the goals and objectives of the department.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
- Assumes all duties of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist during his/her absence from the unit.
- Establishes effective interpersonal relationships and communication with interdisciplinary perioperative teams.
- Demonstrates effective leadership and is responsible for ongoing professional growth and development.
- Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Contributes to department, division and hospital goals.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- 3 years clinical experience

- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
