We are seeking a dependable and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our growing team in South Florida. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance across commercial landscape properties.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in irrigation, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of landscape operations.
Key Responsibilities
- - Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, pumps, and sprinkler heads
- - Perform routine inspections to identify system issues, inefficiencies, or needed improvements
- - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical irrigation problems
- - Adjust irrigation schedules and controllers to optimize water usage and plant health
- - Operate hand tools and power equipment to install systems and perform repairs
- - Dig trenches and assist with layout and installation of irrigation lines and components
- - Coordinate with landscape maintenance teams to support overall property conditions
- - Maintain accurate records of repairs, service calls, and materials used
- - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Qualifications
- - Previous experience in irrigation, lawn care, or landscape maintenance required
- - Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- - Knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, and water management practices
- - Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment
- - Ability to perform physical labor, including digging and lifting
- - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - Valid driver’s license required
Schedule
- - Monday to Friday
- - Overtime and weekends as needed
- - On-call rotation may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- - Pay up to $30/hour based on experience
