Payroll Manager
A growing organization in the Tigard/Beaverton area is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a multi-state workforce. This role will oversee payroll compliance, process improvements, and team management while partnering closely with HR and Finance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-state employee population
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end activities, including W-2 processing
- Maintain and improve payroll systems, controls, and procedures
- Supervise and mentor payroll staff, if applicable
- Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll-related issues and support reporting needs
- Stay current on payroll laws and regulatory changes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
- CPP certification is a plus
