Description - What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct a range of clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols with diligence.
• Evaluate results meticulously for accuracy, rectify any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, assist in training new team members or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality benchmarks.
• Promote a clean, secure working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification status is required throughout employment.
