Part Time Personal Lines Customer Service RepresentativeHomer Insurance Center, an office of Leavitt Group Northwest, is looking for a Part Time Personal Lines Customer Service Representative for their busy office in Homer, Alaska.Personal Lines Customer Service Representatives are the cornerstone of the personal lines services team. This position answers all inbound personal lines service calls.Responsibilities and Duties:Handle customer service requests in a professional and knowledgeable manner.Determine all impacts/needs associated with the service request, including impacts to other coverage's or policies.Document all contacts, maintain customer records and files in a professional manner, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy.Maintain effective and timely follow-up systems and verify transactions with customers.Additionally, they will use knowledge of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to service customers effectively.Additional responsibilities could include drafting and sending correspondence, and other tasks of a service nature and other duties as assigned.In addition to inbound service calls, the Customer Service Representative performs service activities to support their team and their manager or others, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.Job Requirements/Competencies:Property and Casualty License requiredExcellent communication skills; verbally and writtenDetail oriented and able to maintain compliance standardsMust be dependable, provide timely response, and complete of work activitiesHomer Insurance$25-$28/hr depending on experienceLeavitt.comAs a national company, the Leavitt Group is one of the largest privately-held insurance agency brokerage in the nation, with over 280 locations across 32 states.
