Embark on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 settings for the 2026-27 school year. As a skilled School Psychologist, you will thrive in a collaborative, onsite environment, working full-time (40 hours per week) with schedule flexibility depending on your school assignment typically between 7:00 am 3:00 pm or 8:30 am 4:30 pm. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating the identification and support of students with educational disabilities, contributing your insights to the Multidisciplinary Team, as well as Intervention, Safety, Building, or District Crisis Teams. You'll have the chance to shape positive learning outcomes by developing thorough behavior and academic intervention plans, while providing vital school-based counseling for students experiencing crisis and acting as a trusted resource for staff, families, and students alike. Desired Qualifications Valid Nebraska School Psychologist license (required) Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Strong understanding of special education eligibility, behavioral interventions, and academic planning Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families Compassion, adaptability, and problem-solving skills Role Responsibilities Assess students for eligibility for special education services Serve on Multidisciplinary and other school or district teams as assigned Develop and monitor behavior and academic intervention plans Deliver crisis intervention and school-based counseling as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Advocate for inclusive practices and positive behavioral supports throughout the school setting Enjoy comprehensive weekly pay, robust 401K retirement planning, and a choice of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverageall designed to support you as you make a difference.
