Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a collaborative, student-centered environment and is committed to supporting students with individualized learning and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and state standards
• Deliver differentiated instruction using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices
• Collaborate with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and RBTs to integrate academic and therapeutic goals
• Collect and analyze data on student academic and behavioral progress
• Communicate progress and updates with families and partnering school districts
• Support and guide paraprofessionals/RBTs in instructional strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (or eligibility required)
• Experience working with students with mild to intensive needs preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
