Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Will accept PTA: no
• Will accept First Time Travelers: yes
• Will accept New Grads: yes

Assignment Details

• Patient Population: Outpatient Ortho
• Float to other clinics: no
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week.
• Will see 12-14 patients per day.
• Double-booking of follow up visits expected.
• OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.

Location Highlights

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina offers 60 miles of Atlantic coastline and access to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, a 1.2-mile oceanfront promenade with shops and dining. Myrtle Beach State Park is about 5 miles from the central beach area and features maritime forest trails, fishing access, and beachfront recreation. Broadway at the Beach includes entertainment, restaurants, and attractions near central Myrtle Beach, while the area also provides golf access at numerous public courses and coastal living suited to travelers who enjoy a beach-centered setting. Day trips to Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens place nature trails, sculpture gardens, and wildlife viewing within about 20 miles of the city.
