Aerospace Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Operations department supporting aerostructure inspection and compliance. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Aerospace Quality Inspector Location: Kinston, North Carolina What's the Job? Perform line-side inspections on aerostructure assemblies and components to ensure compliance with engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and customer requirements. Support the inspection of fuselage panels, structural assemblies, finishes, fastener installations, and product conformity within the production environment. Identify, document, and manage non-conformities while ensuring product integrity, traceability, safety, and compliance with aerospace regulations. Verify structural conformity, paint quality, fastener installation, and surface conditions through detailed inspections. Support non-conformance management, root cause investigations, and FOD prevention activities to uphold quality standards. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or Quality preferred. Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or aircraft assembly. Experience performing line-side inspections and managing non-conformities using MES, SAP, or similar systems. Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, aircraft structures, composites, metallic aerostructures, and inspection tools. Proficiency with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital inspection tools. What's in it for me?
