Production Mechanical Technician

Becton Dickinson seeks a Production Mechanical Technician for night shift manufacturing support in Broken Bow. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, training operators, and coordinating with engineering to maintain machine uptime and throughput on a medical device production line.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct mechanical malfunctions on production machinery
• Train and mentor operators on machine setup, adjustments, and preventive maintenance
• Monitor and improve machine uptime and throughput to support plant performance
• Recommend changes to preventive maintenance programs and perform major repairs
• Coordinate with engineering and electrical technicians on system improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years mechanical technical experience
• At least one year formal training in mechanical trades or equivalent
• Licensed forklift operator
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Proficiency with hand tools, electronic equipment, and diagnostic methods
• Physical capability to lift 50-100 pounds occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently
