About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership in all financial and accounting activities. The CFO will be responsible for general accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, asset liability management, and overseeing a significant investment portfolio. This role also involves driving the enhancement of organizational processes through technology and leading a team with a focus on coaching, development, and mentorship. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of at least five years in a similar role within a financial institution, with a strong background in investment portfolio management and the ability to develop branch profitability models and cost accounting methodologies. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those holding advanced degrees or professional certifications. The role requires a dynamic individual with the expertise to lead and innovate in a fast-paced financial environment. The CFO will play a key part in the company's mission to provide exceptional member service, financial strength, and community involvement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at problem-solving, and capable of driving the organization towards its financial goals while maintaining a strong commitment to the values of the company.
