IT Systems Administrator

IT Systems Administrator – Falls Church, VA Reports to the regional IT Manager and provides day‑to‑day administrative support for the IT department. Selected candidates will maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI access, including a CI Polygraph, and support classified and corporate networks, requiring occasional travel and after‑hours support. Primary Responsibilities Integrating, upgrading, and managing domain services and infrastructure systems in a Microsoft Windows Server environment. Configuring and administering various line of business applications, IT/Cyber Tools, and other software solutions. Recommending improvements to the company's IT services. Contributing to computer and network security using a variety of security‑based products. Managing data backup and restoration systems for the local facility. Some administration and maintenance of client computers and solutions in various LAN environments. Providing end user support for local office. Maintaining software licensing records and providing support to IT budget planning sessions. Mentoring other IT staff and leading technical projects. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology related discipline and/or current, applicable industry‑standard certifications (MCSA, CCNA, Security+, RHCSA). Minimum of 3 years working as a Windows System Administrator, Linux Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role. Must have or be able to obtain a Security+CE or equivalent certification for DoD8140/8570IATLevelII or higher within 90 days of employment. Proficiency with domain services utilizing Windows Server including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and DHCP. Advanced IT troubleshooting skills and experience. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and on a team. Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce technical documentation. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Nice to Have Active Top Secret security clearance. System administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux8 or later. Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft365, Azure or AWS Administration, SharePoint, Veeam Backup & Replication, or SCCM Configuration Manager. Familiarity with classified information system Cyber Security tools and technologies (Nessus/ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker, DISASTIGs). Experience collaborating with Cyber Security professionals. Salary $95,000 to $125,000; compensation considered based on responsibilities, experience, education, and skills.
