Custom welding and fabrication shop in East Earl, PA is looking for multiple welders and fabricators on 1st shift. Great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of welding training and/or working experience in the trade. Will invest in employees and train in multiple welding and fabricating practices with pay increases as new skills are mastered. Interviews available within 24-48 hours of applying!
1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $18-22/hr DOE
Job Description:
This role focuses on custom metal fabrication and welding in a project-based manufacturing environment, producing a wide variety of parts and assemblies for commercial equipment and other industrial applications. You will use your welding and fabrication skills to build components from drawings and specifications while continually developing your technical abilities through hands-on training and coaching.
Responsibilities
- Work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to build a variety of parts, components, and complete machines.
- Set up welding machines for production, ensuring correct parameters and safe operation.
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components, maintaining required quality specifications.
- Develop and use component weld fixtures as needed to support consistent, repeatable welds.
- Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet quality and appearance standards.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures as part of custom and higher-volume production runs.
- Follow established procedures and processes with a strong focus on safety and effective work practices.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding on steel, including setup and operation of MIG welding equipment.
- Experience setting up welding machines for different jobs and materials.
- Ability to grind and polish welds to a clean, finished appearance.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints.
- Experience working with carbon steel materials.
- Ability to work from engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to quality, with the ability to maintain required weld and dimensional specifications.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility in taking on different tasks and projects.
- Reliability in attendance and consistency in work habits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Formal welding and fabrication training from a technical school or similar program is preferred.
- 1–2 years of working experience in welding and fabrication is highly beneficial.
- Experience with TIG welding is a plus.
- Experience working with aluminum is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honey Brook, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
