Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist

Job Overview A Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist at The Lee Company will perform a variety of quality related duties to assure compliance to the Quality Management System and related policies. Responsibilities Review planning requisitions daily in accordance with policy to allow Purchasing to generate purchase orders. Reject requisitions that are non-compliant and notify the planners of the rejection. Review and apply the proper purchase order codes (macros) to the requisitions. Maintain and update the macro codes in accordance with relevant specifications Manage, maintain, and initiate vendor deviation requests. Review inbound certifications to verify that they comply with purchase order requirements. Scan documents into the records database. Generate FAIRs (first article inspection reports) and material certification packages as needed. Initiate and manage the random testing of products and services. Perform internal audits and generate required reports. Coordinate with relevant parties including but not limited to planners, quality engineers, engineers, purchasing agents, and manufacturing personnel. Work with suppliers to resolve non-conformances in a timely manner. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Post high school degree preferred. Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years related experience. Occasional lifting - under 10 lbs. (files) constant eye/hand coordination. Daily sitting, reaching, walking. Frequent concentrated mental visual acuity required. Analytical ability. Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Proficient in use of computer, and related databases.
