Adult Congenital Heart Disease in Cardiology

Position Summary:
Our organization is in search of a full-time physician specializing in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, who is board certified or eligible, to spearhead the expanding ACHD program at our facilities in Dallas, TX, specifically at the Children's Hospital and Heart Hospital.

Ideal Candidates Should Possess:

• Preferred board certification or eligibility in adult congenital heart disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Required experience or additional training in adult congenital heart disease
• Preferred experience or additional training in noninvasive imaging techniques
• A background and enthusiasm for clinical and outcomes research

About Our Facilities:

• A 254-bed pediatric hospital featuring the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas
• An advanced 108-bed Level IV NICU, part of a regionalized care model with nine affiliated NICUs
• The Congenital Heart Center includes two specialized cardiovascular operating rooms, two cardiac catheterization labs, one hybrid suite, and a 25-bed dedicated CICU/Stepdown Unit with 24/7 attending and NP coverage, along with an ICAEL-certified Echo Lab, cMRI, and collaborative 3D printing initiatives
• Two congenital heart surgeons, with neonates and infants making up 70-80% of surgical cases
• A 63-bed specialized adult Heart Hospital featuring three cardiac catheterization labs, three biplane EP/interventional catheterization labs, three dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, and two hybrid operating rooms, along with a 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and a 48-bed Progressive Care Unit, both with 24/7 attending and NP coverage, plus a cardiovascular outpatient center
• A comprehensive range of adult interventional procedures conducted exclusively by the ACHD team across both campuses
• World-class expertise in adult cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical support
