What You'll Be Doing Deliver compassionate patient care throughout every stage of the visit. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures. Safely restrain and handle patients using Fear Free techniques whenever possible. Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites for daily use. Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes in patient condition to the medical team. Collect patient histories and communicate important information to veterinarians and technicians. Administer medications and treatments as directed and permitted by state regulations. Assist with laboratory sample collection, processing, and recordkeeping. Educate pet parents on preventative care, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans. Maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital, stock supplies, and help keep operations running smoothly. Build strong relationships with clients through empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication. Be an advocate for patient comfort, safety, and exceptional veterinary care. Who You Are You're not just looking for a job—you want to make a difference every day. A minimum of 2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience (required). Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting. Strong patient handling and animal restraint skills. Excellent communication and client service abilities. A positive attitude and team-first mindset. The ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
