Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a dynamic role in a Level II Trauma Center in Washington. This position involves floating between units, providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. The selected candidate will join a collaborative healthcare team within a teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical and non-critical situations.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Administer therapies such as BiPAP, CPAP, and aerosol treatments.
• Perform intubations, extubations, and tracheostomy management.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Washington State Respiratory Therapist License (WA LIC)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience in trauma care and pediatrics is preferred.
