If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile.Primary Objective:Operates electric and manual pallet jack to move material and pallets throughout the warehouse while performing the picking operation.Shift:1st: M-F, 5:00am-1:30pmEquipment Knowledge:Sit-Down ForkliftElectric Pallet JackResponsibilities:Picking:Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracyConveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areasPutaway:Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once receivedKeys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelvesEnsures product is placed into accurate locationGeneral:Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisorFollows standard operating and safety proceduresKeeps area safe, clean, and organizedPerforms other related duties as requiredQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.
