Overview Travel Float Nurse positions are temporary. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on the needs of the units and/or assigned locations. Flexible schedules: part‑time, full‑time, and as‑needed basis. Nurses will cover shifts and schedules as needed at the units in their assigned locations. Travel expenses will be covered as needed. Position Requirements Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing 1 year of nursing experience Ability to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families Ability to work independently, be organized, and prioritize work tasks Current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification Responsible for keeping all required licensure, certifications, and CPR certification current Must complete all required RHA and unit‑specific annual competencies when due, recorded in Workday Work requirements reviewed monthly to determine continued eligibility for program Benefits This position is not benefits eligible Pre‑employment screening Complete criminal background check Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities) Drug testing Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements Proof of employment history or references (if required) Position requiring driving: proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle (if required for providing transportation for individuals) Employee Benefits (for eligible employees) Payactiv: early access to the money you’ve earned from hours you’ve already worked, before payday!
