Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a certified Patient Care Assistant or Nursing Assistant training program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the employer. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting. Additional certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations. Demonstrated knowledge of infection control and safety protocols. Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, under the supervision of nursing staff. Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely within the facility and positioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to report patient status and any concerns promptly.
