About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of previous experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Completed at least 1 travel contract preferred Not employed within the last 12 months Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines required Familiarity with medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban is required Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date One supervisory reference required at time of submission Must have a taxable address outside a specified distance from the facility Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. There will be a requirement to work on summer holidays, specifically Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The role includes clinical responsibilities and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
