Forklift Operator

Our client, an industry leader in logistics and warehousing, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their growing team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe and efficient movement of materials and inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience operating multiple types of forklifts, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

What's the Job?

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Utilize warehouse equipment, including large-capacity Hyster forklifts when required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and documentation of stock movements.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to meet production and shipping goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What's Needed?

• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Required experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Exposure to large-capacity Hyster forklifts is preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to learn and operate large Hyster forklifts as part of the role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
